Does anyone have experience with grafting Hinoki  cypress? I have a dwarf cultivar which absolutely does not back-bud, and am thinking about grafting 
in some branches that I might take from a younger plant. Obviously I'd be grafting them lower on the trunk, and trying to keep the foliage near the trunk. 

what are your thoughts?
