I am not sure what you are asking about. The only issue I can see on this tree is wiering that does nothing except strangeling the tree. Take it off.

The wire is for the first twist. Im pretty new to bonsai, but I was thinking starting the first twist now is the right time. If it is to soon then I can take it off. But my question was about the white stuff on the branches.

I can't see what there is either. I agree take the wire off, I hope it was only inside to take pictures.

It is not too soon, just wrong. You are strangeling the tree but have not achieved any movement at all in the long run. You will end up with wire scars that will not heal until long after that tiny bend is gone.

No this is outside, i have never taken the tree inside. It is outside but under a roof, i did not want the soil to get to wet because it was already wet when I got the tree

Fine, have you tried rubbing whatever it is on the branches to see if it comes off ?

Yes, I rubbed it off with my nail and it came off easily its like a thin layer, idk what it is, just wanted to be on the safe side if it is something i have to treat.

Could be from watering if the water is hard, I doubt there is anything to worry about, leave it and see what happens in a few months.
