I found a really cool hollowed out oak, it would make a nice comparison to some good carving in bonsai. I'm not sure if you interested. Are you wanting trees from the wild that are commonly used in bonsai?

This is completely up to you! Explain why it inspires you and Im sure it'll be great. If the bonsai and the nature images match this might be all the more interesting (but not required!).

To be sure; you are also free to submit only one picture. The option to send two (a nature image and a bonsai tree) is just that; optional

Rules?
- Open to all registered users at BonsaiEmpire.com
- The competition runs for three weeks, until monday the 19th of March, 2012.
- You may submit two entries (please submit both seperately); one entry with a tree in nature, and one entry with a Bonsai tree.
- The submitted photos belong to you, or permission is granted by its owner (please state the owner clearly).
- Oscar (admin) can't win
- Harry Harrington selects the three winners, his decision is final.
Those were the only guidelines stated.
