Hello everyone, first time post and first time Bonsai owner.
I received a Carmona for my birthday a little while ago and whilst I'm obviously excited I'm also terrified about harming it.
Any tips for watering, pest control & general caring would be greatly appreciated but as the subject suggests I'd specifically like to be pointed in the right direction of a good plant lamp. I live in England so the sunlight is weak at the best of times and I want to prepare for winter and get ahead of the game.
Any kinds/brands you'd recommend or avoid?
Again, any other tips of how to cultivate my lovely little friend would be warmly received.
Thank you all,
Tom

For carmona humidity is an important factor. Grow lights heat up and dry out the air around the tree. If you want to add supplemental light I would urge you to solve the humidity issues first or the tree will just get dry crispy leafs much faster than without extra light.
Another option is to decrease temperature in the room the tree is kept in for winter. That will solve both humidity and light need challenges. However, not everyone has a room to spare.
