So, everyone I am trying to revive a Chinese Elm I have and want to make sure of the best soil for it.

Somehow it has no leave, buds, etc-it looks dead but when I do the scratch test it is green underneath.

I am looking for advice on this poor tree-am hoping to revive and perk it up. I had it outside before, but recently brought it inside for reviving efforts and to make sure with the scratch test that there was still green under the bark.

I would welcome all advice on this. I have never had one do this before. Any emergency things I could do?

Greetings;

so, I just took some pics of my Chinese Elm to give you all an idea of what I am talking about.

I am looking for info or advice on what to do with it now. I had put it in a regular pot a few months ago to see if it would help.

Do not re pot. Put it outside in the shade and keep it watered but not saturated and hope. It may still be alive, You do not say why it lost leaves in summer it should have leaves and be growing.
