Hello everyone, I have recently asked in a similar post if I could re-pot my azalea but I assumed it wasn't pot-bound. However, after looking closer I think it might be, can anyone help me identify it? If it is pot-bound is it safe to re-pot it after flowering even if I have recently bought it and it came from a slightly warmer climate in the same country?

Thanks, but would it not harm the tree since it is still adapting or does that not exist with bonsai and also does it look like it is pot-bound?

Pot bound means that the tree is extreamly hard to get out of the pot. Bound to the pot in other words. Yours seems like it was easy to remove.

Forget bonsai it is a plant. If you can get some use Kanuma for the repot.
