Greetings;

I have a plant coming from an online nursery-it is a plant that I have not worked with yet and so would like to know the best soil for it.

A Ming Aralia. What is the best soil to use for the plant. And what about nutrients?

Thank you all for your time. I would appreciate all advice as I know nothing about the plant except they are nice looking and are not too fond of strong sunlight and cold.

Hi Carol,
Ming aralia likes potting soil to be somewhat acidic and rich with organic materials. The soil should be mixer of equal amounts of coco coir, peat moss, perlite, pumice, or coarse sand with your potting soil to create the perfect potting mix.

Please post me about your Ming aralia plant progress.

Happy Planting.
