I couldn't resist, again, to style the cheap Piceas that are literally available everywhere I go
At around 2 minutes into the video below, you see how bad the condition of the roots of these plant usually is. So I repotted into proper soil and waited a full growing season, before styling the tree. Its doing well now.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Thanks! Team effort as always with all the videos. And make sure to snap a photo so we can follow the progression!

Hey Oscar, I shall add your video to the "christmastree conversions" playlist I have on my channel.
There are so many of these being transformed into bonsai. Yours is, anturally, really well-done!

That’s awesome! I totally get the struggle with those Piceas—they often come in such rough shape. I had a similar experience last year with a tree I got from a local store. The roots were a mess, so I repotted it and gave it a full season to recover. By the time I styled it, it looked so much better!

Oh, and speaking of Christmas trees, I bought my artificial Christmas tree from here . I was looking for something that wouldn’t shed needles everywhere, and their selection was perfect. It’s holding up great, and I think it’ll be a staple in my holiday setup for years to come.Walkerby wrote: That’s awesome!
