so, I just bought a good sized Fukien online from a Nursery. Would I have to repot it in a bigger pot when I get it? How long before you can repot after you get it in the mail?

You can uppot into any size container you want and have space for. But repotting as we normally do in bonsai with rootwork no. Better to wait with repotting until you know how to keep the species alive and growing.

The main question would be.. Why do you wish to repot.
Do not repot because "it is a bonsai thing to do"

This one will be a good size one in a 3 gallon nursery pot. The soil is nursery soil.

Nurcery soil is the soil the tree has been grown in up to the size, shape and condition it is in now. Since you bought it, it seems like you are happy with what it became in nurcery soil.
I just had to sheck. 3 gallons equals 11 liters!!!
