Hi there, I was wondering if anybody could provide any advice on my ficus cuttings... do you recommend pruning them back now and again to help them grow or to just leave them to grow and prune once they've properly formed? Thank you in advance.

I do not think your tree will grow more If pruned.

The secret formula in bonsai:

Let it grow without pruning will grow faster, but once pruned will leave scars that takes long time to heal.

Prune a lot all the time will dramatically influence developing time. But scars will heal faster and it will be an amazing tree given time.

I tend to go mostly for option 1. My time left on earth is not enough to enjoy the finished tree in option 2.
