Me and my mother have just purchased our first plants! I have gotten a Chinese juniper, and my mother (accidently, without knowing that they’re difficult) got a pomegranate. We got them as pre-bonzai, which is how our local nursery sells them, just as small stunted saplings. After looking at it for a while, I think the juniper will look best as a semi cascade, but it’s tiny still, I’ll probably wait and see, and my mother hasn’t made any decisions yet. I have repotted the juniper for rapid growth and will wait and see. These are our first trees and we were wondering if we could receive some guidance and tips, and pretty much just what we should know/things you wish you knew when you started.

These are young plants. I hope you have the Juniper at least outside. The Pomegramate is not difficult to grow providing you have the right conditions. Mine is out all year, Sometimes they need greenhouse protection. It is too soon to think about styling just grow on for a year or two.
