I was gifted a sad cotoneaster and have been slowly shaping it.
I'm finally happy with some of the movement in its branches
i did a final trim for the year and will work on getting tight foliage and building up a new apex.
here are some images of when i got it, its first wiring and it today.
still has a while to go of course

Hi, your cotoneaster is looking good.
What size are you aiming for?
If you gonna keep it small, you should bring more movement on the branches, close to the trunk. at this point the branches are long in proportion with the hight of the tree, so these will be cut much shorter in the future.
