I was working on this dwarf Alberta spruce yesterday and made some deadwood (Jin) on it. I wasn’t too sure on how to prune the top on the other branches. Any advice?

I would not cut anything more for now. Just let it recover a season or two. Meanwhile you have a lot of time to set up a plan for future design.

Hard to see the trunk. Is it splitted to two or 3 trunks?

What style are you aiming on.
Formal upright or clumpstyle or..?

It’s actually splitting into four.

Sorry, hard to give any advice here. For me, it is not clear where you are going with this styling. Are you planning on keeping these 4 main stems?

I am. I'm trying to make formal upright growth with each main stem. I made deadwood or 'jin' on two of them.

In that case, be creative. Formal upright with 4 trunks is a type that you have just made up. The aim of a formal upright is.. straight up, smooth terparing with regular branching at ever decreasing interval, perfectly vertical, perfectly stright. So not 4 trunks.

Keep in mind, in general with Bonsai, even numbers over 2 of anything is typically avoided

I think I might I have to do more trimming. Believe it or not, that’s less half of the foliage from before.

I am sure it needs more pruning. Not just now. Wait a season for it to recover. There are no pride in a dead tree.
