Hi all,
New tree which was a gift. I'm fairly fond of it other than the inverse taper on the bend.
Any suggestions for progression to resolve or lesson. I'm assuming removing those branches and then the branch in the right becomes the main branch, shifting the flow a bit to the right.
Would a thread graft low down help to swell the trunk?
Ps sorry no idea why it's flipped the photo I'm on my phone :woohoo:

a bit more drastic is airlayering just where the inverse taper/bulging is. Would leave you with a much smaller tree, but without that bulging you dislike now.
